Wamuti Ndegwa

Canon Dr. Wamuti Ndegwa is an accomplished litigation Counsel specialising in heavy commercial litigation, property law, environment, and governance. He appears in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, High Court and the Environment & Land Court. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Law from the University of Nairobi. He teaches the law on the same fields at the University of Nairobi. Dr. Ndegwa is also a prolific researcher. He has published widely in various referred journals and presented seminar papers on a wide range of legal topics. Dr. Ndegwa served as a member of the Committee of the Chief Justice for the making of the Rules of the Civil Procedure, Lead Counsel in the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the Violence in Tana River Districts, and as the National Consultant for developing a legal framework for controlling corruption offences. He is a lay canon in the Anglican Church
of Kenya.
